The blog of acoustic band Appleby Kinsey. February saw our final gig with our beloved Catherine who is leaving us to begin a brave new adventure of raising a family. The great personal joy of this news is of course opposed by the sadness at the breaking up of our music-making quartet and partnership. 2014 was a busy year for us and, perhaps most significantly, saw us doing lots of live performances well into the winter period.

Wednesday, February 1, 2012. I had no art plans for the kids. With hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road, distracting and discouraging thoughts plague my mind. The drive ahead looked bleak and full of more self criticizing stabs. Now, what can I do? Surely I can do something! I need a transformation of thoughts.
